SpectrumData provides high quality, cost effective X-ray and film scanning and digitisation for polyester based X-ray films. Our services include large and small format films (A4-A0 & custom)for individual sheet fed hard copy films. We also scan smaller dental X-ray films.

Images are scanned to internationally recognised formats, such as TIF, ensuring that they can be loaded into and easily accessed and viewed in any PACS/HIS/RIS or similar X-ray viewing application.
SpectrumData can provide your digitised records via disk or any output media of your choice. Alternatively, they can be sent electronically for delivery direct to your desktop for entry into your EDMS or database applications.

Scan On Demand
As an alternative to the cost of scanning everything upfront, SpectrumData also offer a SCAN ON DEMAND service where we can store your hard copy X-ray films in secure, environmentally controlled storage and then scan particular films on request. On deposit into storage we would barcode, index and inventory your hard copy films, making them easy for identification and viewing through a database. On request, they can then be retrieved from storage, scanned and emailed to you within a couple of hours, depending on an agreed service level.
SCAN ON DEMAND provides a cost effective solution to up front scanning of large volumes of documents and X-rays, as well as the added benefit of having them managed off site, reducing physical storage space required in house.
If you have aging nitrate or acetate based films that require digitisation, SpectrumData can also assist you with the scanning of these older types of films.
