SpectrumData grew from a small division of a world leading geophysical software development company - Encom Technology.
The development of a seismic viewer was an important project carried out mainly for internal use and quality control purposes. Since the development of SEGYView, it has been released to the general public as a freeware application.
SEGYView, as its name implies, is a program for viewing seismic data files formatted according to the SEGY format specification.
The program runs on Windows 95, 98 and NT2000 platforms and provides a fast and easy means of viewing SEGY formatted seismic data.
